More info

Multimode fiber optic cable coil made of high resistance polyethylene (PE) and protected for outdoor or indoor installations, UV rays, temperature and protection against humidity. In the interior it has fiber optic cables with external protection of adherent type or tight (tight buffer), LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) with diameter of 6.0 mm. These are multimode optical fibers with core and coatingsection 50/125?m. In the central axis fibers and a reinforcing wire are available. The fiber optic cables have 3 types of coating: hydrophobic gel to prevent moisture and leaks, loose PBT tube to isolate the fibers and a water blocking layer.

As network cables, fiber optic cables have their international standards. In this instance they are divided into OM1, OM2, OM3 and OM4. The difference between them is based on differences in bandwidth, speed, inside diameter as seen in the table below. To help clarify some concepts, would 9/125 (inside diameter/outside diameter). In the bandwidth can be 850nm, 1350nm or one550nm (nanometers). In the case of application we have put a guidance to help understand the concept, but actually it can be used in many areas.
