Together with the INJECTOR, a 15VDC power supply is supplied to inject the current. By tando it has power input, RJ45 input (LAN) and RJ45 output (LAN +DC). The SPLITTER (or separator) again separates the data and the DC current (LAN + DC) that will feed the device. The maximum distance between these two devices is 100m, which is defined by the IEEE 802.3 standard itself. It allows 3 different voltages: 5V/2A, 7.5V/1.5A and 12V/1A, which adapt to most devices and selectable by means of a switch located in the SPLITTER. Works with TIA/EIA-568, Cat.5/5e, 4-wire cabless for 10Base-T or 100Base-TX. The SPLITTER module therefore has input RJ45 (LAN + DC), power output (DC) and output RJ45 (LAN). Together with the SPLITTER, there are 3 15cm power cables with different DC connector diameters, and a 15cm Cat.5e hose. Size of the modules of 64x42x21mm.

UTP cable is standard twisted pair is referred by its acronym UTP (Unshiedld Twiested Pair/Unshielded Twisted Pair). The major advantages of this cable are its low cost and ease of handling.
