USB adapter for 32-bit 3G CardBus cards distributed by mobile telephony operators (Movistar, Vodafone and Orange). Model U132 manufactured by Elan Digital Systems, Ltd. It allows the use of CardBus 3G cards in computers that do not have a CardBus slot, especially in state-of-the-art laptops. This adapter is designed specifically for this type of cards and not for other CardBus cards. Compatible with Windows 2000, XP and 2003 Server operating systems. The 3G card slot allows to be connected in both USB 1.1 and USB 2.0 ports (requires 500mA). If the USB port does not provide enough power, you will need an external power supply of 6 VDC (not included although in most cases it is not required). Size of the slot of 140 x 83 x 25 mm and weight of 140 g. Supports Cardbus type I and II cards and only for the provision of 3G (other added features of the card are not supported).
